Last week at glance

The Jaguars (2-2) hit the road again this week to take on the Park Hill Trojans (1-3), led by head coach Andy Sims.

Blue Springs South is coming off a 37-6 victory over Staley, totaling 412 yards of offense while allowing just six points. Defensively, Cy Wilmes led the way with 12 tackles and a sack, while Evan Maize added two sacks and three tackles for loss. On offense, quarterback Brody Reickard completed 12 of 14 passes for 182 yards and two touchdowns while adding 22 rushing yards. Wilmes and Nate Ringgenberg both contributed two touchdowns in the win.


Jude Couzens was named Offensive Player of the Week for his outstanding blocking performance against the Falcons. Maize earned Defensive Player of the Week honors, while Andre Dorsey-Wells was recognized as Special Teams Player of the Week. Taj Griffin was named Scout Team Player of the Week.

The victory over Staley also marked the 50th career head coaching win for Alan Wilmes.

The Team


The Offense

Offensively, Brody Reickard leads the passing attack with 604 yards while completing 58% of his passes. He has thrown six touchdowns against four interceptions. Last week, he completed 12 of 14 passes for 182 yards and two touchdowns, while adding 22 rushing yards. The receiving corps is led by a trio of Nate Ringgenberg (14 receptions, 208 yards, 3 TDs), Terry Sullivan (16 receptions, 243 yards, 3 TDs), and Jase Hardimon (7 receptions, 166 yards, 1 TD). The rushing attack is led by Ki'Shawn Todd-Bell (48 carries, 284 yards, 1 TD) and Myland Bristow (47 carries, 188 yards, 1 TD).


The Defense

Defensively, the Jaguars are led by Cy Wilmes, who has recorded 54 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, and one pass breakup (PBU). Khali Harrison ranks second on the team with 38 tackles, two tackles for loss, and two PBUs. Prince Goldsby leads the Jaguars with 4.5 sacks and has also accumulated 37 tackles, eight tackles for loss, and three forced fumbles. Derrian Williams leads the defense with five PBUs, while Meko Brown is second with three. In last week's win over Staley, Evan Maize recorded two sacks and three tackles for loss, earning Defensive Player of the Week honors.


Special Teams

The special teams unit is led by Jose Ayala, who is 4-of-5 on field goal attempts and a perfect 10-of-10 on extra points. He has also recorded eight touchbacks on kickoffs this season. Cy Wilmes has placed four of his 12 punts inside the opponent's 20-yard line.

Last Time Against the Trojans

The Jaguars have not faced the Trojans since the 2023 season, when they suffered a 35-33 loss during Coach Wilmes' second season at the helm of the Jaguars.


Game Information

Kickoff is set for 7 pm at Preston field ( 7701 NW Barry Rd, Kansas City, MO 64153 ). Information for tickets and where to watch the game are linked below. The following policies are in effect for Friday's night game per Park Hill School District:


  • No backpacks or large bags are allowed for spectators at any PHSD stadiums or gymnasiums. Medical equipment and supplies are permitted.

  • All student spectators grades 6-12 must present a valid

    student ID at entry and have that ID available to show an adult at all times while attending the game.

Only students from the two participating schools may attend Middle school and elementary school student spectators

must be under the direct supervision of a parent/guardian for the duration of the event.

  • Football gates will open to the public at 5:30 p.m. Gates will be closed for public admission after halftime, and no re-entry

    is allowed.

  • No outside food or drink is allowed at PHSD stadiums or

    gymnasiums.
